Vintage 1950s 1960s small wicker woven basket easter egg hunt

Dating back to the 1950s/1960s, this hand made little wicker basket is so charming and would make the perfect addition to a vintage farmhouse kitchen or an easter egg hunt. It has an unusual rectangular shape and has been woven with red and green stripes on the front, bottom and back sides and has 2 carry handles. The handles and the edges of the two short sides are wrapped in red plastic, typical of baskets from this era. The truest colour is in picture 1. Measurements (approximate): Height (including handles) x width x depth: 20 cm x 22.5 cm x 14 cm. Condition: it is in lovely vintage condition and has a beautiful patina which only comes with age and use. It is free from damage and repairs and displays very well.
